The Hanoi People's Committee has just planned to conduct a firefighting and rescue drill at Technopark Tower and Apartment S2.18 in the Vinhomes Ocean Park 1 complex.
Accordingly, the exercise aims to enhance the coordination ability in organizing fire fighting, escape, search and rescue of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police force, forces participating in fire fighting and rescue, and support forces of localities neighboring Hanoi city participating in handling fire, explosion, incident and accident situations at high-rise buildings.
It is expected that the city will mobilize about 4,007 people to participate in the drill at 9:30 a.m. on December 27, 2025, with a training period of 14 days, 2 days of joint training, 1 day of general rehearsal, 1 day of practice at Technopark Tower building and S2.18 Apartment located in Vinhomes Ocean Park 1 Urban Area, Gia Lam commune on the mechanism of command information, fire fighting, search and rescue, rescue and live drills.
Regarding the fire fighting and rescue plan, coordinating many forces and means of participation is organized into 2 parts: Mechanism operation drill and live drill.
The City Police are assigned to preside over and closely coordinate with relevant departments, branches and sectors to advise the City People's Committee to coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security in leading, directing and operating the organization and implementation of the exercise tasks.
The City Police coordinated with Hanoi Radio and Television to broadcast live images and activities of forces and vehicles participating in rescue and firefighting at the scene during the official drill for delegates attending the drill to monitor and broadcast live on local television for people to watch.
Through the drill, it is aimed at propagating and raising awareness and sense of responsibility of heads of establishments, workers and the masses in complying with legal regulations on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue, knowing how to organize and apply techniques in fire fighting and rescue activities, assessing the operational capacity of on-site fire fighting and rescue vehicles and the ability to self-escape when a fire, explosion or accident occurs.
