The Ring Road 1 project is one of the key traffic projects in Hanoi , aiming to reduce traffic pressure in the inner city and synchronously connect the ring road system. To ensure construction progress, the authorities of Lang, Giang Vo and O Cho Dua wards have simultaneously implemented measures to speed up the counting, compensation and support for people and businesses to relocate.

On De La Thanh Street, in recent days, the most visible scene is shops packing up equipment, moving cabinets and shelves onto trucks and handing over the premises in parts. A furniture store owner on the street said: "Realizing that this is a necessary project for the city, my family had to mobilize all human resources to move furniture ahead of schedule."

Many areas along De La Thanh Street have been cleared, opening up space for the development of a smooth traffic system in the future.

Previously, Hanoi Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc requested departments, branches, and wards of Lang, Giang Vo, and O Cho Dua to ensure the completion of all site clearance work for the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, before December 15, 2025, and to complete the route before January 15, 2026.

In the context of businesses clearing up day by day to make way for new constructions, consensus between the government and the people is considered an important key to help the project be implemented as planned. When completed, the route will contribute to reducing traffic congestion, while creating momentum for urban space development in the central area.
