Hanoi awarded the Decision to appoint General Director of Urenco Company

On the afternoon of December 8, 2023, in Hanoi , the Ceremony to announce and hand over the Decision of the Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee to appoint Mr. Pham Van Duc to the position of General Director of Hanoi Urban Environment One Member Co., Ltd. (URENCO) took place.

Mr. Mai Xuan Truong and Mr. Nguyen Truong Son presented the Decision and flowers to congratulate General Director Pham Van Duc.

Attending the Announcement and Decision Awarding Ceremony were Mr. Mai Xuan Truong - Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Home Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Truong Son - Secretary of the Party Committee of Hanoi Business Bloc; and representatives of a number of agencies and units under the Hanoi People's Committee; Board of Members, Board of Directors of the Company; Chairman of the Trade Union; Secretary of the Youth Union; representatives of leaders of departments, professional centers; Directors of branches under the Company.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs Mai Xuan Truong presented Decision No. 6186/QD-UBND dated December 4, 2023 signed by the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee on the appointment of Mr. Pham Van Duc - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director in charge of the Company, to hold the position of General Director of Hanoi Urban Environment Company Limited (URENCO). The term of appointment is 5 years. Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Mai Xuan Truong highly appreciated the contributions of Mr. Pham Van Duc in working with the Board of Members and the Board of Directors of URENCO to effectively manage the work of maintaining sanitation and protecting the environment in Hanoi, contributing to gradually building the environment of the capital city to be increasingly green, clean, beautiful, modern and civilized.

In particular, in the recent past, Mr. Pham Van Duc has made his mark in assuming the role of Deputy General Director in charge of the Company. Speaking at the Ceremony to announce and hand over the Appointment Decision, General Director Pham Van Duc sincerely thanked the affection and trust of the city leaders and agencies, affirmed that he would unite with the Board of Members, the Board of Directors and all officers and employees in the Company to make every effort to best complete the assigned tasks, determined to innovate, be creative to overcome difficulties, perform the role of effective management to best complete the assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the Hanoi People's Committee. At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tien - Chairman of the Board of Members of URENCO Company spoke on behalf of the member units and nearly 5,000 officers, employees and workers of URENCO Company.
