Ha Tinh: Awarding scholarships and sponsorship funds to children in difficult circumstances

The Ha Tinh Women's Union in collaboration with other organizations presented 59 gifts and sponsorship funds, with a total value of over 172 million VND to disadvantaged children. The gifts are intended to motivate the children to confidently enter the new school year.

On the morning of August 21st, at the meeting hall of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province, the Ha Tinh Provincial Women's Union, in coordination with agencies, businesses, and philanthropists, organized the program "Granting scholarships and financial support to disadvantaged children" on the occasion of the new school year 2025-2026.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Truong Thi Luong - Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, Head of the Women's Affairs Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee - affirmed: Throughout the years, caring for orphans and children in difficult circumstances has always been a continuous and humane task that all levels of the Women's Union have paid special attention to.

These gifts serve as motivation for underprivileged children to confidently enter the new school year.

With a spirit of sharing and responsibility, the various levels of the Association have proactively connected and mobilized resources from agencies, businesses, organizations, and individuals inside and outside the province, promptly donating thousands of gifts, scholarships, and practical support, further motivating the children to confidently move forward on their journey to overcome difficulties and rise in life.

At the program, the Provincial Women's Union, in coordination with partner organizations, presented 59 gifts and sponsorship funds for the third and fourth quarters, totaling over 172 million VND. These gifts included cash, school supplies, toys, etc., aiming to provide additional support and motivation for the children to confidently enter the new school year, overcome difficulties, and excel in their studies.

Specifically, Hoang Gia Phat Trading & Investment Joint Stock Company announced its decision to provide long-term sponsorship for 10 orphaned children with particularly difficult circumstances in the communes and wards of Song Tri, Vung Ang, Toan Luu, and Thach Xuan, with a support amount of 420 million VND, committing to maintaining this until the children reach the age of 18.

Nguyen Thi Hoai Thuong gave a speech at the program.

Overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude, Nguyen Thi Hoai Thuong (Quynh Son village, Cam Lac commune), representing the recipients of gifts and scholarships, shared: "My circumstances are not as fortunate as many other children, but thanks to the care of the Ha Tinh Women's Union and the kind people, we have been inspired with faith, determination, and a desire to rise above our challenges. I promise to continuously strive to study, train, and live a good and useful life for society, to be worthy of the love and expectations that the kind people have given us."

Representatives of the Ha Tinh Provincial Women's Union expressed their sincere gratitude to the leaders, businesses, organizations, and benevolent individuals who have consistently supported and actively assisted in caring for disadvantaged children over the past period. The Union also expressed its hope to continue receiving such valuable support in the future, working together for a brighter future for the children in the province.
