Mr. Nguyen Du, Chairman of the IET Council, said that in the 2018-2019 school year, IET trained hundreds of students in the vocational study abroad program to Germany in the following occupations: nursing, restaurant - hotel, auto mechanics, construction... Young people aged 18 and over, graduating from high school and obtaining a B2 German certificate are eligible to participate in the vocational study abroad program. For many years, IET has cooperated with SDI Munich University (Germany) to organize training, organize exams and grant B1-B2 German certificates right at IET in Ho Chi Minh City. In parallel with learning German, students will be trained in basic knowledge of the profession they will study in Germany, after which they will get a visa to Germany to study and work. In Germany, students will be trained for 3 - 3.5 years with 45% of the time spent studying theory at school and 55% of the time spent practicing at businesses. During the study period, students are paid, fully insured and receive benefits like a German citizen. The salary that students receive will increase with each school year, ranging from 800 to 1,200 euros per month. After completing the study, students are awarded a German degree with global value, are accepted and sign an official labor contract with a salary of 2,800 to 3,500 euros/month, and are able to settle permanently in the leading developed country in Europe.

The joy of parents and students when receiving a visa to study vocational training in Germany

This is the most superior dual training program in all education systems worldwide. Vocational students are not only exempted from 100% tuition fees but also receive salaries like real workers. The model of theoretical training at school and practical skills at enterprises is carried out alternately every month to help students become highly skilled workers immediately after graduation. Thanks to that, vocational students studying abroad under this program are guaranteed jobs, career development and long-term settlement in the Federal Republic of Germany.

With the prestige that IET has achieved with the vocational study abroad program, at the end of 2018, IET was chosen by German partners to implement the project of Vietnam Nursing University to work in Germany. This is a project with 100% funding, including the cost of studying German at IET. Accordingly, candidates who are nursing bachelors who want to work in Germany will attend a German language course to achieve level B2 at IET for a period of 8 to 10 months.

In parallel with this process, the student's profile will be assessed by IET for the equivalent of a German degree. Immediately after that, all students will be accepted by IET's partners in Germany, sign a labor contract and be considered for group visas by the German Consulate. Students do not have to request an individual visa interview schedule as before.
