The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong has just issued a Plan to organize the "Tet tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" in the spring of Giap Thin and strengthen forest management, protection and development in 2024.

Accordingly, Hai Duong organized the launching of the "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" in the spring of Giap Thin 2024 from January 10 to February 10 (ie from February 19 to March 19). Forest protection and development work from January to December 2024.

The organization launched the Tree Planting Festival to widely propagate and call on all cadres, union members, youth and people in the province to follow Uncle Ho's teachings: "Spring is the Tree Planting Festival, making the country more and more springy"; gradually making the movement of planting forests and trees become a beautiful tradition of the people of Hai Duong province.

Effectively implement the Prime Minister's decision, the plan of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee on organizing "Tet tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho", contributing to increasing forest cover, improving the ecological environment, limiting the impact of climate change, and protecting the environment.

Organizing the Tree Planting Festival must ensure practicality, effectiveness, and no ostentation or formality. Depending on the actual situation in each unit and locality, the implementation must be consistent and achieve the highest efficiency. After planting, care and protection must be carried out so that the trees can grow well.

Based on the specific conditions of each locality, the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns organize or assign the People's Committees of communes, local organizations and unions to organize the launching ceremony of "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho" in the area.

The Chairman of the District People's Committee directed and requested businesses, units, agencies, and schools to actively respond to the implementation of the Tet Tree Planting Festival in the area.

In addition to the tasks of organizing the launching ceremony of the Tet tree planting festival, the People's Committee of Chi Linh City and Kinh Mon Town should focus on implementing well the management, protection and development of forests in the area. In particular, focusing on managing and stably protecting the existing forest area, strictly protecting the natural forest area and special-use forest area.
