The event featured participation from 25 commercial banks, financial institutions, international card organizations, and over 100 booths offering products and services across various sectors including food, education , and shopping.
Song Festival will take place over 3 days (from October 6 to 8, 2023), including main activities such as: Experiencing cashless payment technology at 100% of booths, demonstrating the most modern and advanced bank card payment technology.
At the “Wave Festival”, attendees had the opportunity to access and experience various payment methods and digital technologies of the bank, including:
Experience VietQR technology through shopping activities; access and experience digital technology through contactless payment, QR code, NFC technology, digital banking, and eKYC (online identity verification) technology. Experience firsthand the application of payment methods and digital technologies in various fields: education, transportation, and buying and selling.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience the features of domestic credit cards - the first step in a new technology trend in the payment field, bringing completely new and different experiences to domestic cardholders, providing more payment utilities at low costs and outstanding incentives.
In addition, banks and financial institutions will also provide information and warnings about risks in payment operations, helping customers stay updated on new criminal methods and tactics, and measures to prevent risks in payment activities.
At the event, the Organizing Committee gave away 10,000 gifts worth 50,000 VND to accounts by scanning the QR code. To receive the gift, customers only need to register their information via the website https://thevietnam.vn or register directly at Song Festival.

All booths are designed with bright colors, youthful language, rich and outstanding products that are especially loved by young people such as books, milk tea, coffee, cosmetics, shoes... and many products of participating units with attractive prices.
Attending the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Director of the Payment Department of the State Bank of Vietnam, shared: “Cashless payment has been and is an inevitable and irreversible trend, especially as young Vietnamese people - the future owners of the country - are becoming increasingly adept at adapting quickly to modern trends and technologies, creating opportunities for the banking industry to provide new and modern banking and payment services, contributing to promoting cashless payments.
With the policies, directions, and solutions outlined in the Government's and the State Bank of Vietnam's Decisions/Plans for the coming period, the banking sector will continue to reap and achieve many remarkable results in cashless payments, promoting digital transformation, and moving towards a cashless society.”
Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, General Director of NAPAS, emphasized: “After two successful events, this year's Song Festival will be the largest digital payment event ever, where young people will be able to directly experience the latest, most innovative and modern payment methods; and will also receive many attractive gifts and offers from the Organizing Committee, NAPAS and partner organizations.”
