The emotional journey of the Road to Olympia 2025 champion Bao Khanh

On the morning of October 26th, the final round of the "Road to Olympia" competition officially took place with four contestants: Le Quang Duy Khoa (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Hue), Nguyen Nhut Lam (Cai Be High School, Dong Thap province), Doan Thanh Tung (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Khanh Hoa), and Tran Bui Bao Khanh ( Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi).

The four contestants appeared radiant, full of confidence and enthusiasm as they embarked on their journey to conquer the glorious laurel wreath.

Among them, Bao Khanh is the last contestant to enter the final round of Road to Olympia 2025 after winning the fourth quarter competition with a total score of 270.

Bao Khanh demonstrated his mettle and spirit of constant effort when going through the most fierce and competitive quarter with the participation of 5 contestants (not 4 contestants as usual, stemming from an incident of the program in the competition last month).

Before entering the Warm-up round, Bao Khanh was moved by the words of encouragement from her teachers and friends at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students, where she is currently studying.

In the final acceleration question, Thanh Tung, Duy Khoa, Nhut Lam and Bao Khanh all answered correctly and earned 40, 30, 20 and 10 points respectively. At the end of this round, Thanh Tung led the climbing team with 210 points. Following were Bao Khanh with 185 points, Duy Khoa with 150 points and Nhut Lam with 135 points.

Following closely behind her rivals for two stages, Bảo Khánh took the lead in the final round when she boldly chose the 20-30-20 point question package. Her total score steadily increased from 195-225-245 as she answered all three questions correctly. The audience erupted in cheers as the contestant celebrated the end of the round.

The last contestant to participate in the final round was Nhựt Lam. In the final question, when Nhựt Lam answered incorrectly, Bảo Khánh immediately pressed the buzzer to answer. Despite answering incorrectly and losing 15 points, Bảo Khánh officially became the reigning champion of the 2025 Road to Olympia competition.

At the end of the final round, Bao Khanh led the climbing team with a total score of 215.

Bao Khanh's score was only 5 points higher than the runner-up, Thanh Tung (Thanh Tung achieved a total of 210). The four climbers emotionally embraced each other in celebration after completing today's leg of the journey.

Bao Khanh achieved the highest overall score with 215 points, thus winning the championship title of the 25th season of "Road to Olympia". Thanh Tung finished in second place, just 5 points behind the leader. Nhut Lam scored 205 points, and Duy Khoa scored 180 points.

"I feel very happy and amazing. This victory is not only for me personally but also for my family and friends who have loved and supported me throughout this journey," champion Bao Khanh shared after his mountain climbing trip.
