Provincial Business Association Plays a good role as a bridge between government and businesses

On the afternoon of January 17, the Provincial Business Association held a conference to summarize activities in 2023 and deploy directions and tasks for 2024.

In 2023, the domestic and regional situation faced many intertwined difficulties and challenges, increasingly fierce competition, high inflation leading to tightening of monetary policy, economic growth tended to slow down, high prices of raw materials increased production and business costs, narrowed consumer markets, the number of orders and order size decreased... significantly affecting socio-economic activities in the province in general and the activities of enterprises in particular.

Faced with such difficulties, closely following the direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels; Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry ; Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, and the active support of departments, branches and sectors in the province..., the Provincial Business Association has united and made efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges. The Executive Board of the Provincial Business Association has regularly cared for, encouraged and supported its members, promptly resolved difficulties and problems for businesses. In particular, in 2023, the Association coordinated to deploy and implement Plan No. 131/KH-UBND of the province on deploying the set of indicators to assess competitiveness at the department, branch and local levels, which was recognized and highly appreciated by the Provincial People's Committee.

The Association has focused on developing members, perfecting and consolidating the personnel of affiliated associations; member enterprises are always united, responding to emulation movements, regularly exchanging and learning, forming joint ventures and associations for mutual development. At the same time, the Association has organized and coordinated with departments, branches and sectors from the central to local levels in the province to organize training courses, fostering knowledge according to the needs of enterprises and the practical requirements of the market mechanism, international integration, creating conditions for enterprises to quickly access information technology...

Therefore, most businesses and entrepreneurs have overcome difficulties, stabilized production and business; ensured jobs and increased income for workers; fulfilled tax obligations to the State, contributing to increasing revenue for the provincial budget. In addition, the Association has done a good job in social security, especially mobilizing businesses to participate in supporting the Gratitude and Social Security Fund; the Dinh Bo Linh Scholarship and Talent Promotion Fund; supporting families in difficult circumstances... with an amount of over 20 billion VND.

Implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Business Association Congress for the 2022-2027 term, in 2024, the Association will continue to better play the role of a bridge between businesses and the government, between businesses and businesses. Build a close coordination relationship between industry associations to connect, consume products and goods, link businesses, and develop businesses. Well perform the role of monitoring, criticizing, proposing, and advising provincial and central leaders to consider timely policy adjustments, promote administrative reform, and create an open and safe corridor for businesses. Thereby, encouraging the business community to promote their talents, intelligence, and courage, actively and effectively contributing to the socio-economic development of the province, with the goal of making Ninh Binh a fairly developed province in the Red River Delta region.

On this occasion, Hung Oanh Construction Company Limited received the Emulation Flag from the Prime Minister. Many groups and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.
