The program is one of a series of activities leading up to the 35th anniversary of the Association's founding, and also expresses gratitude to wounded and disabled veterans – those who have sacrificed and dedicated themselves to the Fatherland.

Mr. Dinh Duc Thang, Chairman of the Vietnam Plastics Association (VPA) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Stavian Group, shared: “Remembering the source of the water we drink is a profound humanistic value that we always cherish and preserve. A sustainable business not only stands firm in the market but also must accompany and contribute to caring for society. VPA will continue to maintain and expand these meaningful activities of gratitude.”

Accordingly, the gifts presented at the Long Dat Center for the Rehabilitation of Wounded Soldiers and Meritorious People not only have material value but also serve as a source of spiritual encouragement, giving strength to wounded and sick soldiers to live happily and healthily, and to uphold the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in peacetime.
After 35 years of formation and development, Vietnam's plastics industry has reached a scale of 31.5 billion USD (in 2024), a growth of 23.9%, bringing together more than 4,000 enterprises, creating jobs for approximately 250,000 workers and exporting to more than 190 countries.

In the process of integration and green transformation, VPA and its member businesses are always striving for sustainable development coupled with social responsibility. Programs honoring those who have contributed to the nation, protecting the environment, and reducing plastic waste are clear evidence of this humanitarian spirit and commitment to harmonious development between economy , society, and environment.
Representatives of the VPA affirmed that paying tribute to previous generations not only reflects traditional values but also serves as a guiding principle for the sustainable, humane, and responsible development of Vietnam's plastics industry in the era of integration.
