On the morning of August 3, the School of Business and Management (HSB), Vietnam National University, Hanoi, held a graduation ceremony for 218 new bachelors and 38 new masters.
According to the school's survey, before the time students received their graduation certificates, the majority of students confirmed that they had jobs, many of whom were recruited into large enterprises and corporations such as: Vietnam National Petroleum Group ( Petrolimex ), Iron and Steel Mechanical Joint Stock Company, Bkav Joint Stock Company, BIM Group...
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Dinh Phi - the school's principal - predicted that in the next 10 years, 80% of this batch of graduates will become executive directors, CEOs, presidents, or at least key staff of medium-sized and larger enterprises; the remaining 20% will become leaders, administrators of the public sector, civil servants, public employees, and leaders of domestic and foreign organizations.
"But to start the above jobs, maybe at first you will start with opening the door and making tea," he said.

According to Mr. Phi, when graduating, "new recruits" will have to accept an unhappy and possibly bitter reality, but they must not be absorbed in boring online games, and must not let AI and social networks destroy their own future.
He advised students three things. First, no matter what you do, don't let AI or social media control you or depend on it. You need to take advantage of your time to expand your social relationships. Money is limited, but human power is limitless.
Second, accept any job in a business, whether small or large, with the responsibility to learn, so that after 5 years you can become a boss or change jobs, which is normal. You need to accept short-term difficulties and hardships, don't complain, but be grateful for what you have encountered, so that in the long term you can stabilize your job.
Third advice, the Internet is everywhere now, don't let work get you down, don't text or call your grandparents, parents, or teachers once a year.
"The journey ahead will be very long. The school will forever be the second family of students and trainees. When they graduate and start working, if they are not good at any subject, they can return to school to study again for free with the lower grades. If they are not good at studying, they must accept to continue studying.
There is nothing difficult, just be afraid of being lazy. You must always work hard, study hard and live a decent life. This is the message I want to convey," said Mr. Phi.
