The XTC-02 armored combat vehicle, researched and produced by the General Department of Defense Industry, is no longer unfamiliar to the people when it continuously appears in training sessions, preliminary and general rehearsals of the parade, the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (A80), but it was not until the National Achievements Exhibition took place that the combat specifications of the vehicle were announced to the public.

The XTC-02 is 7.185 m long, 2.76 m wide, 2.225 m high, and has a ground clearance of 400 mm. It is equipped with a 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine gun and a 7.62 mm heavy machine gun; the crew consists of 3 people and can carry 9 soldiers, with a combat weight of 12.7 tons.

The maximum speed that XTC-02 can achieve on asphalt is 95 km/h, the maximum swimming speed is 12 km/h, with a travel reserve of up to 800 km.

The vehicle's ability to overcome obstacles on steep slopes is 31 degrees, slopes are 25 degrees, can cross 0.8 m wide trenches, and 0.4 m vertical walls; the vehicle's shell is equipped with 7.62 x 39 mm bulletproof steel core penetration; 7.62 x 54 mm bulletproof glass that penetrates alloy core.

The vehicle uses a mechanical gearbox, 9 forward gears, 1 reverse gear; has a self-stabilizing fire control system, tracks targets, and fires while moving, day and night.

Range angle minus 13 degrees - 65 degrees, range angle direction 360 degrees, track target when vehicle speed is less than or equal to 30 km/h, hit target when vehicle speed is less than 20 km/h.

The vehicle is equipped with a chemical and radioactive agent detection and prevention system, a laser irradiation detection and warning system, an automatic fire extinguishing system, and a smoke grenade launcher. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a VRU812S tactical frequency-hopping short-wave radio and an internal intercom.

Next to the XTC-02 is the XCB-01 infantry fighting vehicle. Although this vehicle was announced at the 2024 International Defense Exhibition, it still attracts a lot of attention from the public.

According to the staff at the exhibition area, the XCB-01 has a crew of 3 people: 1 driver, 1 commander and 1 gunner to control the vehicle's firepower. In addition, the vehicle can carry 8 infantry soldiers with full equipment. When carried on the vehicle, the infantry soldiers can join the vehicle's crew to increase firepower to suppress the enemy through the systems provided to the infantry soldiers.

According to the officer, the advantages of this vehicle line are its high mobility, great speed, and ability to fight on all terrains, from plains, mountains, and underwater. During combat, the vehicle can quickly carry infantry deep into the battlefield and take over the battlefield.

In case of encirclement, the vehicle will quickly respond, safely withdraw the infantry to the rear and use a more suitable combat plan.

XCB-01 has a system with 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun, B72 anti-tank missile, 72mm smoothbore cannon, next to the smoothbore cannon there is also a machine gun. In addition, the vehicle also has an active defense system, anti-laser irradiation.

When the vehicle is irradiated by laser, it will give a warning. When attacked by the enemy, smoke bullets will be fired to obscure the enemy's vision and the thermal wall systems in the vehicle will deflect the ballistic system, ensuring the safety of the vehicle during the march.
