Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, said that the STEM Education Festival is a playground that creates opportunities for students to share their knowledge and understanding of the fields they are interested in.
Through the activities at the festival, students will experience STEM in a positive learning environment, working together to solve practical problems in life. From there, they can develop skills and critical thinking, encouraging a spirit of learning and exploration to gradually master science and technology from the primary school level, contributing to the development of the learning and application of information technology, and developing young human resources to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the country.
"The event is also an opportunity to spread STEM teaching methods among teachers to meet the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program, creating opportunities for teachers from different schools to meet, interact, and share teaching experiences, design and organize lessons based on STEM orientation, integrate interdisciplinary subjects, and build teaching themes to improve the effectiveness and quality of education in schools...", the leader of the Department of Education and Training emphasized.
