(CLO) On March 22, a delegation from the Academy of Journalism and Communication (Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy) visited the Huynh Thuc Khang School of Journalism National Monument and conducted field research in Thai Nguyen province on the leadership and management of journalism in the province.
During the visit, members of the delegation learned about the revolutionary traditions and the founding process of the Huynh Thuc Khang School of Journalism. They viewed valuable documents and artifacts, and learned about the names of journalists associated with the school's establishment.

More than 76 years ago, in 1949, the resistance war against the French entered its most intense phase. The task of intensifying press propaganda to carry out revolutionary tasks during the preparation and successful general counter-offensive, as directed by President Ho Chi Minh , was proactively undertaken by the Viet Minh General Headquarters and the Resistance Press Group, with the initiative to establish the Huynh Thuc Khang School of Journalism.

Earlier, the delegation visited and offered incense to commemorate the fallen Youth Volunteers at the National Historical Monument of 60 Youth Volunteer Martyrs of Company 915, Team 91, Bac Thai. The delegation also spent time visiting and learning about the leadership and management of the press at Thai Nguyen Newspaper.

During the meeting, officials and students from the Academy of Journalism and Communication and leaders of press agencies and press management agencies in the province exchanged views on several issues, including the management of representative offices of press agencies in the area; digital transformation in local press agencies; coordination in training journalism personnel in the area; and expenditure norms for journalistic works.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Truong Giang, Deputy Director of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, highly appreciated the leadership and management of journalism in the province, and at the same time requested the trainees to absorb the content to serve their study and research programs at the Academy.
