Attending the conference were Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Director of the Political Department, General Department of Politics; representatives of political command agencies of a number of units under the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense ; representatives of functional agencies of the General Department of Politics; leaders and officers of the National Defense Trade Union.

Colonel Nguyen Van De, Head of the National Defense Trade Union, delivered a concluding speech at the conference.

Pursuant to Directive No. 4418-CT/QUTW dated August 31, 2025 of the Central Military Commission on leading the congresses of mass organizations in the Vietnam People's Army; Plan No. 22/KH-TLĐ dated August 29, 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on organizing trade union congresses at all levels towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031; Decision No. 4596/QD-CT dated November 21, 2025 of the General Department of Politics on approving the Plan to organize the 11th Congress of Military Trade Union Delegates (2025-2030).

The National Defense Trade Union Board has proactively advised and closely coordinated with agencies and units to develop the Draft Political Report of the General Department of Politics to submit to the 11th Congress of the Military Trade Union (2025-2030). The entire process was fully implemented in all stages and steps in accordance with regulations, ensuring scientific , strict and quality.

The draft political report is 18 pages long, structured into a theme and two main parts. Regarding the theme of the congress: Innovation in trade union organization and activities; building loyal, courageous, democratic, intelligent, dedicated, and affectionate trade union cadres and members, contributing to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern army. Part one: Evaluation of the results of the workers' movement and trade union activities in the period 2023-2025. Part two: Directions and tasks of the workers' movement and trade union activities for the next five years (2025-2030); which identifies common goals, nine groups of targets, action slogans, three breakthroughs, and seven tasks and solutions for the workers' movement and trade union activities in the next five years.

Through studying the draft report, the conference delegates gave many enthusiastic and responsible comments, adding some content to highlight the achieved results, specifically stating the subjective and objective causes of the advantages and limitations; many opinions suggested adding and clarifying some content in the direction, goals, targets... to demonstrate the major and appropriate orientation in the new stage of the workers' movement and trade union activities.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Nguyen Van De respectfully thanked the delegates for their dedicated and responsible opinions; affirming that the opinions of the delegates contributed at the conference were an important basis for the agency to absorb, complete and improve the quality of the draft political report.

Based on the contents of the delegates' comments, Colonel Nguyen Van De assigned the Document Team to synthesize, research, supplement, and selectively absorb to highlight the results achieved in the workers' movement and trade union activities in the period of 2023-2025; at the same time, supplement and complete the goals, tasks, and solutions in the draft report to ensure strictness, science, and suitability with practical requirements, and promptly complete the draft report to continue to send for comments to competent authorities according to plan, meeting the set schedule.
