From there, Major General, Professor, and Doctor Nguyen Nhu Lam expressed: Through this conference, we hope to continue updating knowledge, exchanging and sharing experiences so that nursing and infection control work can develop better. This is the third time the Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital has organized a conference on nursing and infection control. This year's scientific conference is also one of the key activities leading up to the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Military Medical Academy and the 60th anniversary of the hospital's tradition.

The 3rd Scientific Conference on Nursing and Hospital Infection Control, held in 2023 at the Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital, was attended by scientists, medical professionals specializing in nursing and infectious diseases, experts, and presenters from various agencies and hospitals such as: the Ministry of Health ; the Military Medical Department; Military Central Hospital 108; Military Hospital 105; Bach Mai Hospital; Viet Duc Friendship Hospital; National Children's Hospital, etc. The conference was organized into two sessions: a general session and a specialized session.

At the conference, 30 high-quality scientific reports were submitted and presented, focusing on clarifying the role and importance of nursing and infection control in hospitals today. Several presentations further clarified the procedures for performing professional tasks in nursing and infection control; proposed solutions for carrying out professional tasks in the current situation; and discussed the application of information technology and digitalization in nursing and infection control processes in hospitals, thereby contributing to improving the quality of medical examination, treatment, and care for patients.
