On June 12th, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda Department organized a national conference to assess the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo of the 13th Party Congress on continuing to implement Directive 05 "on promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style." The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation.
Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and Head of the Central Propaganda Department, attended and chaired the conference. Also attending were members of the Central Committee of the Party; and representatives of the leadership of central departments, ministries, and agencies. Representing the Ministry of National Defense was Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, member of the Central Committee of the Party and Deputy Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army.
After two years of implementing Conclusion 01, provinces, cities, and central agencies have seriously and systematically disseminated and implemented the Conclusion; especially the thematic focus of the entire term, "studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style on self-reliance, self-strength, and the aspiration for a prosperous and happy nation," which has been disseminated to all cadres, Party members, and the people through various rich and appropriate forms. Through these study sessions, cadres and Party members have gained a deeper understanding of the content and value of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style; enhancing their patriotism, self-reliance, self-strength, and aspiration for a prosperous and happy nation.

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Deputy Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, stated that, in concretizing Conclusion 01 of the Politburo, the Central Military Commission proactively developed a thematic document and issued Resolution 847 on "Promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers and resolutely combating individualism in the new situation," which has created solid progress, turning the study and emulation of Uncle Ho into a revolutionary movement with strong influence and practical results. The entire army, united in will, solidarity, and proactive creativity, has upheld the responsibility of leadership, guidance, and organization to successfully and excellently fulfill the tasks of firmly protecting the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the sacred islands and seas of the Fatherland; the overall quality, strength, level, and combat readiness of the army have been enhanced.

With strong political determination to transform the exemplary conduct of cadres and Party members, Party committees and organizations at all levels have proactively incorporated the content of the Central Military Commission's Resolution on "Promoting the Qualities of Uncle Ho's Soldiers, Resolutely Combating Individualism in the New Situation" into their thematic programs for the entire term and annual programs; especially the content of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's work "Resolutely and Persistently Fighting and Preventing Corruption and Negative Phenomena to Contribute to Building a Cleaner and Stronger Party and Political System" into monthly and regular political activities of Party committees and branches. Through this, each cadre and Party member engages in "self-reflection and self-correction," emphasizing self-criticism and criticism with the motto "those above lead, those below follow; those inside lead, those outside follow; those above set a good example, those below actively follow." The exemplary conduct of the cadres and Party members has created motivation and inspired officers and soldiers to overcome all difficulties and hardships, readily accepting and successfully completing all assigned tasks.
Emphasizing the role of the Army press in propaganda, contributing to the widespread dissemination of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style throughout the army, Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet stated: On the basis of closely following practical activities; creative and effective models and methods, good people, good deeds, and advanced examples in the unit and maintaining the daily study of Uncle Ho's teachings of officers and soldiers throughout the army; the Army press agencies have increased broadcasting time, opened more than 16 special pages and columns, such as "Beautifying the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers", "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style - worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers", "Uncle Ho with soldiers", Uncle Ho's teachings on this day in history... to propagate in newspapers, radio and television with rich and diverse forms; At the same time, provide content to spread on pages and groups of force 47, creating a mainstream propaganda and information orientation in the press and social networks.
According to the Deputy Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, the practical implementation of Conclusion 01 over the past two years, in conjunction with the conclusions and regulations of the 4th Central Committee Conference of the 13th Party Congress on Party building and rectification, and the campaigns and emulation movements of "Determined to Win" throughout the army, has resulted in the emergence of many new models, creative and effective approaches, and advanced examples in agencies and units, such as: the "Self-reflection and self-correction" model, "Party members guiding the masses," "Four-good Party committees and branches," "Every day, every cadre and Party member speaks one good thing and does ten good deeds," "The 100-dong house," "Helping children go to school," "The Vietnam Navy program as a support for fishermen to venture out to sea and stay there," "Coast Guard accompanying fishermen," etc. Over the two years of implementing Conclusion 01 and the campaign to promote traditions, contribute talents, and live up to the name of Uncle Ho's soldiers, the entire army has achieved significant progress. The military has had tens of thousands of outstanding collectives and individuals honored and rewarded by various levels of authority.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia highly appreciated the efforts of Party committees and authorities at all levels in leading and directing the implementation of Conclusion No. 01 over the past two years. In the coming time, agencies and units need to strengthen the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style, linking it with the promotion of national values, culture, family values, and the standards of Vietnamese people; making the study and emulation of Uncle Ho a voluntary, regular, and exemplary practice for each cadre and Party member. The Head of the Propaganda Department noted that agencies and units should promptly commend and reward outstanding collectives and individuals; and widely disseminate good models and effective methods in studying and emulating Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style. Through this, they should continue to propagate the core content, affirming the value and contemporary significance of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style in the current revolutionary cause.

At the conference, delegates watched a theatrical performance about the image of President Ho Chi Minh; visited a virtual reality exhibition displaying "Each artifact tells a story - A collection of gifts from President Ho Chi Minh 1945 - 1969"; and exchanged experiences on learning from and following President Ho Chi Minh's example.
