Conference to review foreign information work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025

In 2024, closely following the leadership and guidance of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Steering Committee, the tasks of propaganda and external information dissemination were effectively implemented in all three areas: Party diplomacy, State diplomacy , and people-to-people diplomacy.

Comrade Tran Minh Nam, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Propaganda Department, delivered a speech at the meeting.

Through this, Ninh Thuan's investment attraction policies, potential, advantages, image of the homeland, and culture and people are better known to businesses, friends, and people both domestically and internationally; creating unity within the Party and consensus in the process of the Party Committee implementing tasks, contributing to the socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security of the province. In particular, in 2024, Ninh Thuan was among the top 10 provinces nationwide in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), with a total capital of over 1,214 million USD.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the achievements in external information work. He noted that, given the unpredictable nature of conflicts between major world powers, climate change, and the difficulty in controlling epidemics; the organization of Party congresses at all levels, including the 15th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; and the implementation of the policy of reforming and streamlining the political system's organizational structure for effective and efficient operation, as well as the development of national energy infrastructure, including the restart and investment in the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project... all have had a significant impact on the province's external information work.

Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for External Information Work, delivered the concluding remarks at the conference.

To effectively fulfill the tasks in 2025, the comrade requested that each member of the Provincial Steering Committee uphold a high sense of responsibility in guiding propaganda; seriously and effectively implement external information work at the local level, in their respective sectors and units. Emphasis should be placed on inspecting and supervising the implementation of tasks within their assigned areas of responsibility. Focus should be placed on improving the quality and effectiveness of communication and external information activities, promoting and introducing the image, policies, investment environment, potential strengths, historical traditions, cultural heritage, etc., of the locality to domestic and international friends, ensuring a focused, targeted, effective, and practical approach. Attention should be paid to training and fostering knowledge of external information for responsible and part-time officials, propaganda personnel, reporters, and editors of media agencies; emphasis should be placed on creating high-quality news articles, using foreign languages ​​to promote and publicize the locality…
