Conference summarizing and awarding prizes for Literature and Arts in 2024

On January 10th, the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts held a conference to summarize and present awards for Literature and Arts in 2024; and to implement key tasks for 2025.

Vi Manh Hung, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and Do Hong Quan, President of the Vietnam Union of Associations of Literature and Arts, presented the A Prize of the 2024 Youth Literature Award to the authors.

Attending the event were Comrade Vi Manh Hung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Propaganda Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr., Musician Do Hong Quan, President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations .

In 2024, the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts successfully completed its assigned political and professional tasks, building a strong organization. It played a crucial role as a bridge connecting artists and writers, inspiring creativity among its members through various professional activities, including creative camps, competitions, and seminars; resulting in thousands of literary and artistic works by members and collaborators. Many of these works were published, vividly portraying the socio-economic life and cultural traditions of the people of the ancestral land. Works by members of the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts won numerous regional, national, and international awards.

Leaders of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in 2024.

In 2025, the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts will continue to do a good job in political and ideological work, strengthening unity and cohesion, and promptly encouraging the team of artists and writers in creating literary and artistic works. Regarding professional work, the Union will successfully organize the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day and other literary and artistic activities serving: Hung Vuong Ancestor Commemoration Day – Hung Temple Festival; summarizing 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after national reunification; publishing the Anthology of Phu Tho's literary and artistic works from 2020-2025 and improving the quality of the Phu Tho Literature and Arts Magazine. Focus will be placed on in-depth investment to produce high-quality works; continuing to prioritize the training of young writers and the search for new talents...

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and the Provincial Literature and Arts Association awarded the B prize to the authors.

Representatives of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and the Provincial Youth Union presented the C prize to the authors.

At the conference, Vi Manh Hung, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and Do Hong Quan, President of the Vietnam Union of Associations of Literature and Arts, along with other delegates, presented the 2024 Literature and Arts Awards to authors with outstanding works and collections of works, including: 9 A prizes, 9 B prizes, and 18 C prizes. On this occasion, collectives and individuals who achieved many accomplishments in 2024 were also commended.
