According to Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien, the Conference was held in the context that the country had just successfully completed the first step of streamlining, organizing an efficient, effective and effective apparatus, ending the operation of district-level governments, operating two-level local administrative governments (province and commune), expanding the development space of provinces and cities, "rearranging the country" to enter a new era of rising up, building a prosperous country, and people having a prosperous and happy life.
The Standing Committee and the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee have closely coordinated with relevant agencies to prepare important contents to amend and supplement the 2013 Constitution, mainly Articles 9, 10 and 84; presided over the coordination, building 1 law, amending 4 laws: the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Law on Trade Unions, the Law on Youth, the Law on implementing democracy at the grassroots level. The Standing Committee and the Presidium have submitted to the Politburo and the Secretariat very important documents, as a basis for implementing this historic turning point policy. In the work of the Front, organizations have many new motivations for development - Mr. Do Van Chien clearly stated.

At the Conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented the draft Proposal on the key orientations of the Front's work in 2026; the draft Project on organizing the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031; the draft Report summarizing 10 years of implementing Project No. 01/DA-MTTW-BTT dated May 5, 2015 on innovation in information and propaganda work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The delegates focused on discussing the above contents.
Commenting on the contents, Mr. Hoang Dinh Thang, Chairman of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Europe, affirmed that the Vietnamese community abroad is very pleased with the wise, close, and drastic leadership and direction of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front in the revolution to reorganize the national political system with a spirit of streamlining, effectiveness, and efficiency to bring the country firmly into a new era - the era of national growth.
In the first six months of 2025, the Vietnamese community abroad had many activities in promoting trade, science , technology, tourism and investment, activities to promote the image of the country, people and national cultural traditions in the host country, as well as the continent, especially activities in people-to-people diplomacy.
Currently, there are 17 members of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front who are Vietnamese people residing abroad. Chairman of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Europe Hoang Dinh Thang proposed to consider adding some contents to demonstrate the role of the group of Committee members who are Vietnamese people living abroad. Specifically, add to section 5 of part III Results of the program implementation in the first 6 months of the year: "A number of Committee members who are Vietnamese people living abroad have coordinated and supported the Vietnamese Embassy in the country in promoting trade, science and technology, tourism and investment, promoting the image of the country, people and cultural traditions of Vietnam and actively contributing to people-to-people diplomacy" and section 6.3 of the key part of the Front's work in the last 6 months of 2025 on promoting the role and responsibility of Committee members who are Vietnamese people living abroad", said Mr. Hoang Dinh Thang.
Former Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Nguyen Van Phuc said that in parallel with propaganda and mobilization of all classes of people to thoroughly grasp and implement the Resolutions, Directives and Conclusions of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Front needs to focus on propagating revolutionary documents of the National Assembly and the Government, especially the 34 laws passed by the National Assembly, including many historic decisions such as amending the Constitution and rearranging administrative units.
Highly agreeing with the policy of continuing to review and rearrange mass associations to be more streamlined and reduce the number of mass associations, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc expressed concern about how other member organizations besides mass associations assigned by the Party and State will be arranged while many associations are currently autonomous in finance, organization, personnel and have made great contributions to society.
As a member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and a businessman, associated with the activities of the Business Association, Mr. Tran Viet Anh, Chairman of the Vietnam Recycling Association, said that many movements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front have been very successful. Typically, the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" has been innovated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front, improving the efficiency of its operations, having a profound impact on all classes of people. This is a correct policy, with high resonance for the business community.
However, besides those achievements, Mr. Tran Viet Anh expressed concern about a burning issue, which is counterfeit goods, fake goods, poor quality goods, which not only cause serious damage to legitimate businesses, but also affect the health and trust of consumers. It is a blatant deception, erodes business ethics, and affects the reputation of Vietnamese products in the international market.

According to data from the National Steering Committee 389, in the first 6 months of 2025, units and localities handled 50,000 cases of smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods; collecting nearly 6,454 billion VND for the State budget. The anti-counterfeit goods program has created widespread influence, creating consensus among businesses and consumers.
Mr. Tran Viet Anh informed and recommended that the Vietnam Fatherland Front should launch a larger, broader campaign in the whole society called "Say no to fake goods". This movement needs to be implemented synchronously from the central to local levels with the participation of mass organizations, business associations and the majority of people because they are the consumers. "We need to strengthen propaganda, education, and raise people's awareness of the harmful effects of fake goods; at the same time, encourage people to actively denounce and fight against the production of fake goods. The authorities need to be more drastic in inspection and examination, creating a healthy and fair business environment", Mr. Tran Viet Anh shared.
