In 2023, the Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association made strenuous efforts to overcome difficulties and successfully implement the assigned tasks and plans. The Standing Committee of the Association, in coordination with media agencies, actively innovated political and ideological education, provided professional training for members, paid attention to protecting their rights, encouraged their morale, and created a favorable environment for members to work creatively and successfully fulfill their political duties; and disseminated information in a targeted manner regarding events and activities of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

Furthermore, the Provincial Journalists Association continues to strengthen and build its organization, focusing on the grassroots level, considering its branch associations as the core of emulation movements and association activities; coordinating with agencies and units in the province to organize many practical and effective activities, affirming the position of a political , social, and professional organization in the new era, contributing to the development of journalism in the province and the country.
The movement to create high-quality journalistic works, launched and widely implemented among all members, is becoming increasingly in-depth, yielding practical results and achieving better outcomes than in previous years.

The branches and members of the Provincial Journalists Association have achieved many accomplishments in central-level journalism competitions, such as the Vinh Phuc Newspaper Branch receiving an award for outstanding achievements in the 2022 Golden Hammer and Sickle Award and the first Dien Hong Award in 2023; one member of the Vinh Phuc Newspaper Branch winning the Special Prize in the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award, and one group of authors from the Vinh Phuc Newspaper Branch winning the Encouragement Prize in the "Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2023" competition; one member of the Provincial Radio and Television Branch winning the Encouragement Prize in the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award and two groups of authors having works in the final round of the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award; and one group of authors from the Provincial Radio and Television Branch winning the Encouragement Prize at the 41st National Television Festival...

Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vinh Phuc Newspaper, Do Thi Hoang Lan, presented Certificates of Commendation to individuals who had achieved outstanding results in professional work and association building in 2023.
At the conference, delegates participated in discussions and contributed opinions to the report summarizing the work of the Provincial Journalists Association in 2023 and outlining tasks for 2024; the report on the work program of the Provincial Journalists Association in 2024; focusing on specifically evaluating the achievements and clearly analyzing the difficulties, limitations, and causes of issues that the Provincial Journalists Association needs to focus on leading and directing to perform better in the future.
On this occasion, the Provincial Journalists Association awarded commendations to 3 collectives and 9 individuals for their outstanding achievements in professional work and association building in 2023; and gave a special award to a group of authors from Vinh Phuc Newspaper for winning the third Political Commentary Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2023.
