Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association Nguyen Dinh Bang, Deputy Director of Vinh Phuc Radio and Television Station Tran Thi Minh Nguyet, and representatives from several businesses visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to the families of Nguyen Huu Phu Vinh (Lang Thuy residential area, Lien Bao ward, Vinh Yen city), whose mother was paralyzed after an accident and is currently living with her grandmother; and Nguyen Thi Hong Giang, a primary school student in Lien Son commune, Lap Thach district, whose family is in particularly difficult circumstances with her father in a vegetative state, her mother unemployed, and her two siblings still of school age.

Ms. Trieu Thi Thanh Binh, Standing Vice President of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association, visited and presented gifts to the following families: Ms. Pham Thi Hoa (My Do village, Tan Phong commune, Binh Xuyen district), whose elderly parents-in-law are frail, whose husband passed away, who herself suffered a serious traffic accident and is bedridden, and whose son has an intellectual disability; and Ms. Duong Bich Ngoc and her daughter (residential area 1, Huong Canh town, Binh Xuyen district), both suffering from thalassemia.
These are four of many cases discovered and featured by provincial members and journalists in the "Compassionate Hearts" section (Vinh Phuc Radio and Television Station) and the "Humanitarian Fund" section (Vinh Phuc Newspaper) in 2023, aiming to call for attention and support from agencies, organizations, and philanthropists to help people overcome difficulties and improve their lives.

During their visits, the delegation members inquired about the health of the families, encouraged them to overcome their circumstances and gradually improve their lives; and wished them a more prosperous New Year and Lunar New Year 2024.
The delegation presented Tet gifts from the Journalists Association, provincial press agencies, several businesses, and a number of philanthropists (including essential necessities for Tet and cash) to the four aforementioned families, with each family receiving a gift worth 4.5 million VND.
