Giving gifts on Independence Day - connecting love, spreading joy

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Information about the Party and State giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd with the amount of 100,000 VND/person received special attention from the people of the whole country. On August 30, Thanh Hoa approved more than 430 billion VND to give gifts to all the people. On August 31, people of all ethnic groups in the province went to receive Independence Day gifts bustlingly, excitedly, connecting love, spreading joy and pride.

In Hoang Hoa commune, on this occasion, nearly 4.3 billion VND will be handed over to nearly 43,000 people in the commune. From the afternoon of August 31, hundreds of people excitedly gathered at the cultural house to receive gifts of 100,000 VND/person.

In order to deliver meaningful gifts to people in a timely manner, since August 30, the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa commune has reviewed and made a list of recipients of gifts from each household. By the afternoon of August 31, the locality had established many working groups to simultaneously organize the distribution of gifts to celebrate Independence Day to people at cultural houses in a spirit of urgency, thoughtfulness, openness and transparency.

Mr. Le Van Van, 80 years old, a veteran living in Vinh Son village, Hoang Hoa commune, emotionally shared: “I am really happy because my family of 5 members all received gifts on the occasion of National Day. The gift contains profound meaning as a word of gratitude, sharing, connecting and arousing the national spirit in each citizen, making people increasingly trust in the leadership of the Party and State”.

In Hac Thanh ward - the ward with the largest population in the province (more than 197,140 people), the organization of giving Independence Day gifts to the people took place simultaneously in 57 residential groups in the area.

In Bim Son ward, 35 gift-giving points for the people are arranged with civil servants, public employees and police forces to guide people enthusiastically and thoughtfully, ensuring timeliness and correct recipients.

Although it was a holiday, many cadres, civil servants, public employees, police, military ... in the communes were mobilized to participate in checking, counting the beneficiaries, making a list of people receiving gifts accurately, avoiding omissions and duplication; at the same time, directly organizing the delivery of gifts to each household. This contributed to ensuring that all gifts were delivered to the right people, the right recipients, bringing complete joy to the people.

According to Decision No. 2940/QD-UBND dated August 30, 2025, the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee approved the additional budget for gift giving to the People on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 with a total amount of more than 430.5 billion VND. The gift level is implemented according to the Prime Minister's Telegram, specifically 100,000 VND/person.

All gift-giving activities are organized by local authorities in a public and transparent manner, directly to each household, determined to complete the gift-giving to the people in the area no later than September 1, 2025.
