First workshop on the draft of the book "History of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee 1940

Comrade Secretary of the City Party Committee Ta Duc Tuyen spoke at the workshop.

Attending the seminar were comrades: Pham Minh Huan, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, former Secretary of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee; Tran Ngoc Than, former Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of the City Party Committee; and former Deputy Secretaries of the City Party Committee, former Chairmen of the People's Council and People's Committee of Tuyen Quang City. Comrade Ta Duc Tuyen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee, chaired the seminar.

Speaking at the workshop, Comrade Ta Duc Tuyen, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee, emphasized that organizing the workshop on the draft of the book "History of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee 1940 - 2025" aims to further supplement, clarify, and complete the content of the draft. The book is a scientific work, carried out on the basis of continuing, inheriting, and unifying with historical documents already researched in previously published books on the history of the city's Party Committee, in order to continue the historical process of the city's Party Committee from 2008 to 2025. At the same time, this is also a practical activity to celebrate the 21st Congress of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

The book "History of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee (1940-2025)" retains the entire content from Chapters I to VII of the book "History of the Tuyen Quang Town Party Committee (1940-2008)," newly compiled from the latter half of the 17th Congress of the Town Party Committee to the 20th Congress of the City Party Committee, incorporating the content of the latter half of the 17th Congress of the Town Party Committee into Chapter VII. The following chapters include Chapters VIII, IX, and XX; each chapter corresponds to a Congress term.

Comrade Pham Minh Huan, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, former Secretary of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee spoke at the workshop.

At the workshop, delegates contributed their opinions on the structure and content of the book draft. Specifically, delegates suggested that the book's editorial board should research and select prominent events and issues for analysis and clarification, creating a foundation for future generations to follow; consider and select appropriate illustrative images; write a comprehensive summary of lessons learned for the entire period to avoid repetition; highlight and deepen the role of the Party's leadership and the mobilization of the people's strength in the city's development; and supplement and clarify the unique characteristics and highlights of the city over the past 17 years (2008-2025)...

In his concluding remarks at the workshop, City Party Secretary Ta Duc Tuyen thanked the delegates for their heartfelt and responsible contributions. The Steering Committee and the Editorial Board of the book will incorporate the delegates' comments and discussions into their research, further supplementing historical documents and events, thereby providing a basis for finalizing the book manuscript before printing and publication.
