The 2024 "Youth with Traffic Culture" Contest is directed by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and the implementing agencies and units are the Army Youth Committee; Political Departments of units: Military Region 5, Air Defense - Air Force, Special Forces, Engineering Corps and Ninh Thuan Provincial Youth Union. The contest aims to propagate and disseminate legal knowledge on traffic safety and raise awareness and civilized behavior when participating in traffic for cadres, soldiers, union members, youth of all forces and the whole society.
Self-introduction contest of the Special Forces team
Participating in the contest, the teams took turns going through 4 rounds: Self-introduction, knowledge of traffic laws and culture when participating in traffic, skits and eloquence. According to the judges' assessment, the teams were well-prepared, serious, and strictly followed the contest regulations. The contests were exciting, engaging, and attracted viewers. That showed the attention of the Party Committee, leaders, and commanders at all levels as well as the efforts of each member of the participating teams.
The organizers awarded the first prize to the Military Region 5 team.
In the end, the Military Region 5 team won the first prize and the remaining 4 teams shared the second prize. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded prizes for each excellent performance to the teams and certificates of merit from the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army to the Political Department of Military Region 5 and the Provincial Military Command for their excellent performance in hosting the "Military Youth with Traffic Culture" Festival and the "Youth with Traffic Culture" Competition in 2024.
