According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , candidates use the account provided on the Ministry's General Admission Support System to register, adjust, and add university admission wishes, an unlimited number of times until 5:00 p.m. on July 28.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung - Deputy Head of Communications and Admissions Department (University of Commerce) recommends that all operations must be completed before 5:00 p.m. today. After this time, the System will be locked, so candidates will not be able to register or adjust their wishes anymore.

Although candidates are not encouraged to register or adjust their preferences on the last day of the deadline, especially at the “second to last” hour, Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung noted that there is still enough time until 5:00 p.m. on July 28 for candidates to change or adjust their preferences (if really necessary). However, candidates should complete this work before 3:00 p.m. today.

Candidates must not stop and exit in the middle, because the operations have not been recorded by the System. When changing wishes, candidates do the same, paying attention to the final steps.

According to the plan, from tomorrow, July 29, candidates will pay the admission fee online until 5:00 p.m. on August 5. After that, the Ministry of Education and Training and universities will process the admission wishes (virtual filtering), from August 16 to 5:00 p.m. on August 20.

After receiving the benchmark scores, successful candidates must confirm their admission on the system no later than 5:30 p.m. on August 30. The Ministry of Education and Training requires schools not to organize admissions before August 22. Additional admission rounds will begin from September 1 until the end of the year.

According to data from the Ministry of Education and Training, in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, the whole country has more than 1.1 million candidates registered to take the exam; of which more than 24,900 candidates registered to take the exam under the 2006 General Education Program; the rest are taking the exam under the 2018 General Education Program.
