While prices may adjust in the short term, global coffee demand is forecast to remain stable. However, climate change factors may affect future production and this will be one of the main factors determining coffee prices.

Regarding pepper, today, after a general decrease of 1,000 VND/kg, pepper price in Gia Lai province reached 150,000 VND/kg; in Dak Lak and Lam Dong provinces it was 152,000 VND/kg; in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province it was 151,000 VND/kg.

According to forecasts from the Import-Export Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, world pepper prices are expected to continue to increase in the second half of 2025. Currently, the market is experiencing a pause due to complicated tax policies and somewhat cautious purchasing psychology.
