More than 450 businesses seek trade opportunities at the 2024 international medical and pharmaceutical exhibition

On August 1st, 2024, the 22nd International Medical and Pharmaceutical Exhibition (Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2024) took place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) - 799 Nguyen Van Linh Street, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2024 brings together over 500 booths from 450 domestic and international businesses. This year's exhibition showcases six industry groups from the following countries: India, Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, Turkey, China, and Vietnam, including: Pharmaceuticals, functional foods, processing and packaging machinery; Medical machinery & equipment; Analytical and laboratory equipment, chemicals; Hospital services & furniture; Medical tourism, medical software; Dental and ophthalmic equipment; Cosmetics, beauty products, and beauty equipment.

This year's exhibition is particularly notable for the participation of well-known brands such as Shenyang Pusm Medical Device Co., LTD (China), Aries AS (Czech Republic), SGH Medical Pharma (France), BAL Pharma Limited (India), IPP Japan Co., LTD (Japan), etc.

Mr. Pham Dang Khanh, Deputy General Director of Vinexad - representing the exhibition organizer - said: Vietnam has many open policies to attract foreign investors and encourage technology transfer, for example, the national strategy for the development of Vietnam's pharmaceutical industry for the period up to 2030 and vision to 2045, approved in October 2023; and the plan for the development of the network of medical facilities for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, which was approved in February 2024. Therefore, Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2024 is expected to continue contributing to promoting trade and developing the pharmaceutical market in Vietnam, aiming to achieve the goal of making Vietnam a top destination and choice for investors, contributing to the successful implementation of the strategy for caring for and improving the health of the people.

Furthermore, with countries prioritizing health, the pharmaceutical industry remains a promising sector attracting significant interest from numerous businesses.
