More than 700 policy beneficiaries in Me Linh commune received health check-ups

On July 19, the People's Committee of Me Linh commune coordinated with Me Linh General Hospital and the Capital Command to organize the program "Medical examination, health consultation, medicine provision, gift giving" for policy beneficiaries in the commune on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

From early on, many policy beneficiaries, including: wounded soldiers, revolutionary activists imprisoned by the enemy, people infected with toxic chemicals, relatives of martyrs... were present at the Me Linh commune health station.

Here, policy beneficiaries are examined, consulted, and instructed on how to take care of their health and prevent some common diseases in old age...

According to the plan, the entire Me Linh commune organized medical examinations, health consultations, medicine distribution, and gifts for more than 700 meritorious people.

On July 19, the commune organized a medical examination at Trang Viet and Tien Phong health stations with 399 policy beneficiaries. The program continued at Me Linh Commune Health Station and Van Khe Health Station on July 20 with 304 people.

In the coming time, Me Linh commune will continue to pay more attention and take better care of the material and spiritual lives of people with meritorious services, ensure social security policies in the commune; promote the movement "Repaying gratitude"...

On this occasion, mass organizations, agencies and units in Me Linh commune also developed plans and actively organized a series of activities to pay tribute to heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, and policy families with many specific and practical actions, such as: Renovating the Memorial grounds, martyrs' cemeteries, visiting policy families... demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" - a fine tradition of the Vietnamese people.
