The device uses an OLED LTPO display with Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz, and a brightness of 2,500 nits.
Huawei also incorporates AI features, such as those to improve photo quality and reduce noise during calls.
The phone also features IP69 dust and water resistance, and a 13-megapixel front camera. The Pro versions also include a 3D Depth camera for facial recognition unlocking, alongside a fingerprint sensor in the power button, and a titanium frame.
The main camera of these devices has a resolution of 50 megapixels, with a variable aperture of f/1.4-f/4.0 OIS, combined with a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.

At the event, Huawei also stated that its newly launched devices will still run HarmonyOS 4.3, which is compatible with Android, but are expected to be upgraded to the new HarmonyOS Next 5.0.
As for HarmonyOS Next, the operating system the company says delivers 40% better performance on its latest smartphone models compared to the Mate 60 series.
To prepare for this change, representatives from the company also confirmed that all of its phones and tablets launching next year will run a version that no longer supports Android. The HarmonyOS ecosystem currently has over 15,000 applications and is expected to expand to 100,000 in the coming months.
At launch, the four models – the Mate 70, 70 Pro, 70 Pro+, and a luxury version, the Mate 70 RS – will be sold in the Chinese market. However, there is no information yet on whether the products will be officially sold in other markets, including Vietnam.
