The Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06, under the Ministry of Public Security ) has just launched a virtual assistant integrated with artificial intelligence (AI).

This AI virtual assistant operates as a chatbot (automatic chat software), similar to ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok... allowing people to quickly look up administrative procedures; guide specific processes, records, and forms; warn of false information, information about scams taking advantage of administrative unit arrangements...

People can also use this chatbot to look up information about localities after the merger, such as information about which locality a commune, ward or district currently belongs to.

How to use the Ministry of Public Security's AI virtual assistant on your computer

To use the AI chatbot, computer users can access the website address at https://vneid.gov.vn/cam-nang-vneid.

Users can use it without having to log in or register an account. On the website interface that appears, click on the “AI Assistant” icon in the lower right corner.

A chat box will appear for users to ask questions related to public administrative procedures or information about administrative units after the merger.

Users can ask questions related to the features on the VNeID application, edit information on this application if there are errors, ask questions about how to perform administrative procedures, or look up information about administrative units after the merger.

For example, users can ask questions about the online passport application process, or information about which locality a district or commune belongs to and the new address of the People's Committee of the ward or commune after the merger.

Like other AI virtual assistant tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok... users can continue to ask new questions related to old questions so that the chatbot can continue to answer and provide information to users.

Note: When accessing the website on a computer, users can only access it with one tab on one browser. If this website is opened on multiple tabs of different browsers, an error message will be displayed and the user will be asked to close other tabs to continue using it.

If you are using a smartphone, you can also access the website link above to use the chatbot.

However, in case you want to use it without having to remember the website address, you can activate the VNeID application on your smartphone, then log in to your account.

From the main interface of VNeID, swipe your finger to the image below the "Organization Identification" section and click on the "General Guide" image that appears.

Immediately, the VNeID Handbook website interface will be activated. At this interface, you click on the “AI Assistant” icon in the bottom corner of the screen and start using the Ministry of Public Security’s AI virtual assistant as instructed above.

Just like when using on a computer, users can use the virtual assistant on their phone without having to register or log into an account.
