(Dan Tri Newspaper) - 170 plots of land in Do Dong commune (Thanh Oai district, Hanoi ) will be auctioned in two phases in March with starting prices of 11-17 million VND/m2.
On March 15th, Thanh Oai district (Hanoi City) will hold an auction for the land use rights of 89 plots of land in the first phase in the Man Ca, Man Cong, Ma Man Trong areas, Van Quan village, Do Dong commune.
The land plots range in size from 87-161 m2/plot with a starting price of 11-17 million VND/m2. The deposit for each plot ranges from 190 million VND to 360 million VND. The auction method involves a single round of direct, sealed-bid bidding using an ascending price system. The auction will be held at the Thanh Oai District Gymnasium.

On March 22nd, Thanh Oai district also held an auction for the right to use residential land for 81 plots in the second phase in the Man Ca, Man Cong, Ma Man Trong areas, Van Quan village, Do Dong commune.
The land plots range in size from 76-189 m2/plot with a starting price of 11.3 million VND/m2, equivalent to 880 million VND to 2.16 billion VND. Bidders are required to deposit between 170 million VND and 200 million VND per plot. The auction will be conducted via a single round of direct, sealed-bid voting using an ascending price method. The auction will be held on March 22nd at the Thanh Oai District Gymnasium.
Earlier, on the morning of March 1st, Thanh Oai district held an auction for the land use rights of 54 plots of land in Ngo Ba area, Thanh Than village, Thanh Cao commune.
The total area of these land plots is 4,405 m2, with each plot measuring 60-85 m2. The starting price is set at 10.9-16.3 million VND/m2, equivalent to prices ranging from over 656 million VND to over 1.3 billion VND per plot. Bidders are required to deposit between 130 million and 265 million VND.
At the end of the auction, the plot of land fetched the highest price of 90.3 million VND/m2, totaling over 7.2 billion VND, 5.5 times higher than the starting price. Previously, in the August 2024 auction, this plot of land had been bid up to 100.5 million VND/m2.
The remaining plots of land had winning bids ranging from 59.3 million VND to 87.3 million VND per square meter, with most being more than five times higher than the starting price.
