Attending the conference were Comrade Do Viet Anh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; and leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.
In implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW, all levels, sectors, localities, and units in Yen Khanh district have intensified propaganda work with diverse forms and rich content to raise awareness among cadres, Party members, and the people about the important position, role, and urgency of culture in the cause of national construction and development in the new era.
Cultural, artistic, and sports activities have been invested in and developed. In particular, the mass cultural, artistic, and sports movements at the grassroots level are vibrant and practical, attracting a large number of cadres, Party members, and the people to participate.
To date, the district has 276 performing arts clubs, 268 folk dance clubs, and 536 recreational volleyball clubs that operate regularly.
In the entire district, 52.2% of the population participates in regular sports training, over 60% of families have achieved the "Sports Family" status, and all 19 communes have developed walking movements.
The "National Unity for Building a Culturally Rich Life" movement continues to achieve significant results, with its quality steadily improving.
The building of culturally advanced families, clans, villages, hamlets, streets, agencies, and units, as well as communes meeting the standards of new rural culture, has had a positive impact on cultural life at the grassroots level, encouraging patriotic emulation movements in all areas of socio-economic development in the district.
The cultural environment is gradually improving, and cultural institutions are receiving attention and investment with the motto of "the State and the people working together," linked to the implementation of criteria for building new rural areas.
Currently, 100% of communes and towns have cultural centers, stadiums, and sports complexes; 98.9% of villages, hamlets, and neighborhoods have cultural centers. The district's cultural center, along with the children's cultural center, has been newly built and is spacious; the district's library, traditional room, and bookshelves in communes, towns, and schools have been invested in, upgraded, and equipped with enhanced facilities, creating conditions for organizing diverse and rich cultural activities to meet the needs of all segments of the population.
The work of preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage and historical relics in the district has received attention and guidance, and has achieved important results.
In implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Party committees at all levels have been decisive in leading, directing, disseminating, and thoroughly understanding the documents for implementation.
Party committees at all levels have developed plans and selected key contents for implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, closely following the guidance of higher levels, linking it with the functions and tasks of party organizations and the political tasks of agencies and units; making the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style an important content in action programs and plans for implementing directives, resolutions, and patriotic emulation movements, linked to the implementation of political tasks, especially addressing pressing and prominent issues and breakthrough areas, in order to focus leadership and guidance.
Thanks to the active and responsible involvement of Party committees at all levels, the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings has increasingly produced excellent models, innovative approaches, and exemplary collective and individual examples, creating a positive and widespread impact among the people. In particular, the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, linked with the implementation of Central Resolution 4 (12th and 13th Party Congresses), has become a regular practice for Party branches, Party committees, agencies, units, and for each cadre, Party member, civil servant, and public employee.
This contributes to improving the quality of Party branch activities, raising the sense of responsibility of cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers; fostering a more scientific, people-oriented, and people-centered work style and approach; and enhancing the exemplary leadership, initiative, and accountability of leaders.
These positive results have made a significant contribution to building a clean and strong Party organization, government, Fatherland Front, and mass organizations; and to successfully achieving the political goals and tasks set forth. The material and spiritual lives of the people have improved significantly.
At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified the achievements made over the past 10 years in implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW and the results of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW. They also proposed numerous tasks and solutions for implementation in the coming period.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee awarded a Commendation Flag to one grassroots Party organization, and Certificates of Merit to one grassroots Party organization and six Party members who met the criteria for outstanding performance for five consecutive years (2019-2023).
