This is the second time the center has achieved this certification, after a direct re-inspection that took place on September 29 and 30, 2025. The results show that IVF Phuong Chau Saigon continues to fully meet the requirements for safety, quality and effectiveness in infertility treatment, while contributing to raising the standards of IVF practice in Vietnam.
International standards in assisted reproduction
RTAC (Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee) is a set of standards for assisted reproductive practices issued by the Fertility Society of Australia, which stipulates 12 essential standards and 7 good practice standards that IVF centers must meet. This standard aims to control quality, reduce risks and ensure patient safety throughout the treatment process.
According to the representative of IVF Phuong Chau Saigon, the international RTAC standard version 2023 being applied by the center is the highest guidance framework for management and operation in the field of assisted reproduction. Re-certification after the periodic assessment shows that the system has been maintained stably, continuously improved and met international standards.
Ensure absolute safety for patients and embryos
During the assessment, RTAC expert - Dr. Adrianne Pope (Australia) - highly appreciated the patient, gamete and embryo identification system of IVF Phuong Chau Saigon. The entire process is controlled by IMS Checker technology, helping to track and retrieve accurate information at all times, absolutely preventing the risk of sample confusion.
The center's LAB currently meets ISO 5 cleanroom standards, making it one of the pioneers in Southeast Asia to achieve this standard in the IVF field. The high-purity environment helps increase the embryo's ability to develop and minimize risks during the culture process.
The evaluation team also noted the full and synchronous staff, including the participation of psychologists in the treatment process - a factor considered rare in IVF centers in Vietnam.

According to experts, IVF Phuong Chau Saigon’s re-accreditation with RTAC not only affirms the center’s professional competence but also marks a step forward for the Vietnamese reproductive support industry in approaching international standards.
