Connecting clean agricultural products and incubating agricultural businesses from the "Kind Green Market"

The Business Research and Support Center (BSA Center), in collaboration with the Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Businesses, is organizing the "Green and Ethical Market" - a place to connect clean agricultural products and nurture ethical agricultural businesses.

During the last weekend of April, to celebrate the "8th Anniversary of the Green and Kind Market," the BSA Center will organize special markets to express gratitude to its customers, including many meaningful programs and diverse activities, at 135A Pasteur Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

"The 'Green and Ethical Market' has become a destination for those who love clean agricultural products, creating ethical agricultural businesses for green entrepreneurial journeys."

Accordingly, the "Green and Ethical Market" brings together thousands of quality products from more than 50 provinces and cities nationwide. All products here meet the criteria of being local resources, geographical indications, OCOP 3-5 stars, typical rural products according to the criteria of Green - Clean - Fresh - Safe, with clear origins from the South to the North, the Central provinces and even the Central Highlands mountainous provinces.

The "Green and Ethical Market" was created to connect people who live "ethically." Farmers, cooperatives, traditional craft villages, and young entrepreneurs bring fresh produce and regional specialties to serve city dwellers.

The purpose of the market fair is not only to allow farmers to interact directly with consumers, but also to listen to feedback from experts in order to continuously improve production and products to better serve consumers.

From the "Kind Green Market," the BSA Center has organized field trips to rural areas, talks with farmers, and young entrepreneurs starting businesses based on local agricultural specialties. This has led to the establishment of Western Specialty Clubs, Clean Producers Clubs, and ultimately, a Green Entrepreneurship Ecosystem.

According to Ms. Vu Kim Anh, Deputy Director of the BSA Center, as of the end of August 2023, the "Green and Ethical Market" had been held 330 times, with the rotating participation of over 80 businesses and young agricultural entrepreneurs from Dong Thap, Ninh Thuan, Ben Tre, Tay Ninh, Tra Vinh , Soc Trang, Lam Dong, Sapa, Dak Lak… and Ho Chi Minh City. Agricultural products grown, processed, and produced according to strict, safe, and clean procedures, or based on traditional and family-inherited methods, all received attention from buyers. Survey trips to inspect and provide feedback on the processes of growing and processing at vegetable gardens and production facilities, aimed at identifying and sourcing clean agricultural products, are always a priority at this "Green and Ethical Market."
