Overcoming the problem of lack of schools and classrooms at preschool and primary levels

The Government Office has just issued document 348/TB-VPCP announcing the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long at the working session with the Ministry of Education and Training.

Accordingly, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long assessed thateducation and training is an extremely important field, determining the quality of the country's human resources, receiving special attention from society and identified by the Party and State as one of three strategic breakthroughs for rapid and sustainable development.

However, in addition to the achieved results, the education sector still has many difficulties, limitations and shortcomings that need to be shared and solutions proposed to overcome such as the problem of lack of schools and classrooms; low rate of school and classroom consolidation; local surplus and shortage of preschool and general education teachers; facilities and teaching equipment are not yet guaranteed; state budget expenditure for education and training does not meet requirements...

To continue effectively implementing the key tasks of the education sector, the tasks assigned by the Government and the Prime Minister, and gradually overcoming the difficulties and obstacles of the sector, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long requested the Ministry of Education and Training and relevant agencies to focus on implementing a number of key contents: focusing on reviewing and approaching the whole and comprehensively in the work of building and perfecting institutions, mechanisms and policies on education and training, especially the development of high-quality human resources; urgently completing and submitting to the Prime Minister for approval plans and strategies for education and training development; completing the dossier of the Draft Law on Teachers to ensure quality and progress according to regulations; overcoming the problem of lack of preschool and general education schools in Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City...
