Continuously setting records for international visitor numbers, Vietnam's tourism industry is not only recovering strongly but is also approaching the impressive target of "trillion dong" in revenue. According to the General Statistics Office, in the first eight months of 2025, the number of international visitors to Vietnam reached nearly 14 million, an increase of nearly 22% compared to the same period last year. In August alone, more than 1.68 million visitors entered Vietnam, an 8% increase compared to July and the highest number for August in previous years.
In that vibrant picture, Ho Chi Minh City contributed more than 5.2 million international visitors, 22 million domestic visitors, and tourism revenue exceeding 140,000 billion VND.
