Opening of free swimming class in Ea Hiao commune

In response to the Month of Action for Children and the 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, on the morning of July 14, 2023, the Ea H'leo District Youth Union, in coordination with the District Department of Culture and Information and the District Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, organized the opening of a free swimming class for children in Ea Hiao commune (Ea H'leo district).

The students were guided through warm-up exercises.

The class was attended by 40 students from primary schools in Ea Hiao commune. Over a period of one month (from July 14th to August 14th, 2023), the students received instruction from coaches, including essential information about swimming; practical training in basic swimming techniques; how to respond to drowning incidents, how to prevent drowning and group drownings, and how to escape in emergency situations.

The coach teaches swimming techniques to children.

The aim of this class is to raise awareness about the importance of physical exercise for children, how to prevent drowning, and to contribute to reducing drowning accidents.
