Opening Ceremony of the 9th Thanh Hoa Provincial Vocational Education Teacher Training Conference

On the morning of September 16th, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (LĐ,TB&XH), in coordination with relevant agencies and units, organized the opening ceremony of the 9th Thanh Hoa Provincial Vocational Education Teacher Training Conference, 2024.

Attending the opening ceremony was Comrade Dau Thanh Tung, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In his opening remarks at the teaching conference, Comrade Hoang Ngoc Trung, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized: The conference is a practical activity aimed at concretizing the guiding principles and policies of the Party and State, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee. At the same time, it is a professional activity with widespread participation that contributes to promoting the emulation movement of good teaching and good learning.

Comrade Hoang Ngoc Trung, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Teaching Conference, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

Furthermore, the Vocational Education Teacher Training Conference also serves as a forum for teachers to showcase their abilities and enthusiasm, share new knowledge, experiences, and teaching methods. The conference is like a vibrant, colorful painting, a treasure trove of valuable experiences in terms of content, methods, and forms of vocational training organization, based on a new mindset and approach: "teaching what businesses, the labor market, and society need."

This is also an opportunity for vocational education institutions in the province to exchange experiences in organizing, operating, and managing vocational education activities. Through the teaching demonstrations, state management agencies and leaders of vocational education institutions can gain a more comprehensive and objective understanding of the capabilities and qualities of vocational education teachers. From there, they can develop training and professional development plans to improve the quality of the teaching staff. The teaching demonstrations also serve as an opportunity to select outstanding teachers from each profession to represent the province's vocational education teachers at the upcoming national teaching demonstrations.

Cultural performances at the opening ceremony.

The teaching conference will take place over four days, from September 16th to 19th, 2024, with the participation of 67 teachers from colleges, vocational schools, and continuing education centers in the province.

Comrade Dau Thanh Tung, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives from provincial departments and agencies, presented commemorative flags to the participating units in the teaching competition.

Accordingly, teachers will deliver lectures covering nine groups of professions and occupations that are popular, have high demand for human resources, and are in line with the development trends of modern science and technology. These fields include: healthcare; engineering, electrical, electronics and telecommunications; mechanical engineering and mechanical technology; computers and information technology; hotels and restaurants; mechanical engineering technology and driving; agriculture, forestry and fisheries; fashion design; and accounting and auditing.

The presentations at the teaching conference were conducted in three formats: theoretical (45 minutes), practical, and integrated (60 minutes).
