The drama "Life Is Still Beautiful" is entering its final episodes, but the conflict between Luu and his creditors remains intense. While the neighbors in the market wholeheartedly help the male protagonist, Hoa (Anh Tho) maintains an indifferent attitude.
Because she didn't want Liu's son to associate with her daughter, Hoa resolutely ignored Liu's difficulties. She even repeatedly berated Liu and encouraged others to stay away from him. This attitude greatly annoyed Liu's close friend, Dien (To Dung).
In episode 37 of the series, when Hoa advises Dien, "Since we're poor, we have to know how to take care of ourselves. Don't get involved with that guy Luu, or we'll all end up dead together," Dien retorts irritably, "Haven't you heard the saying, 'It's better to die together than to live alone'?"
Dien's rap performance delighted the audience.
Seeing Dien taunting him, Hoa continued to taunt him: "With that kind of thinking, no wonder you can't get back on your feet. You can die alone, but what about Binh, what about the child? What are you thinking, you idiot?"
Hoa's harsh words angered Dien, who retorted, "Sister Hoa, I don't know how many meters long you think you are. But honestly, it's sad to live a long life without anyone noticing you."
Hòa still refused to stop, continuing to insult Lưu and show prejudice against men. Điền then "raped" back: "Hey, without guys like Lưu and Điền, can you survive on your own? People call you Sister Hòa because they know better, they respect elders, that's respect for seniority, not because of your money."
Don't think you can say whatever you want just because you have money! Mr. Luu is deeply in debt, but when I was in trouble, he was the one who helped me, not anyone else. My nephew Thach, though born in a humble market, is exceptionally studious and hardworking. And my daughter is even pursuing him!"
Tian's reaction received much praise from the audience.
From the beginning of the film, Dien has been a character who attracted attention with his rhyming, humorous remarks. However, this is the first scene where viewers see him express such frustration and have such a long line of dialogue.
Set against the backdrop of the film, many expressed their delight and satisfaction when the actor scolded the character Hoa for her arrogant and condescending attitude: "The cursing sounds so satisfying," "Bravo, Dien, even his cursing has to be poetic," "Dien is right, even his cursing has rhyme," "Dien curses like a rap song, just to please Hoa," "This is Dien's most brilliant moment," "I hated him taking Binh to get an abortion in the previous episode, but in this episode, I'm turning my back on him because of Dien"...
Actress Anh Thơ plays the role of Ms. Hòa.
Actress Anh Thơ shared with VTC News that the audience's reaction to the character Hòa is understandable:
"I personally feel perfectly normal that viewers are annoyed with my character in recent episodes. It's quite natural; if you play a hateful character, you can't expect the audience to love you. The audience's reaction shows that I've done a good job in my role."
