Khanh Hoa approves investor of social housing project worth over 1,600 billion VND

According to Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, this is a key project serving social security, located in An Binh Tan Urban Area (in Nam Nha Trang Ward). The project is implemented with the aim of solving the housing needs of low-income people, workers and laborers in the province.

The CT-02 social housing project has a scale of over 2 hectares. According to the plan, the project includes 4 15-storey apartment buildings, providing 936 social housing apartments (each apartment has an area of 49 m2 - 77 m2) and over 12,700 m2 of commercial service floor; the expected population is about 2,554 people. According to the plan, the project will be deployed from the first quarter of 2026 and is expected to be completed and handed over by the end of the third quarter of 2027.

The CT-02 social housing project is one of the projects that plays an important role in realizing the National Project to invest in building at least 1 million social housing apartments in the period of 2021 - 2030. The early implementation of the project demonstrates Khanh Hoa province's determination to ensure social security and is expected to create more housing supply at reasonable prices for people in the area of South Nha Trang.

In addition to solving housing needs, the CT-02 social housing project is expected to create jobs for about 600 local workers. The joint venture investor is committed to speeding up legal procedures to start the project as soon as possible.

Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam shared that recently, the province has issued and is developing regulations under its authority and guiding documents related to the field of social housing management and development before and after the administrative unit arrangement. From the beginning of 2025 to now, the whole province has 2 social housing projects under construction with a scale of 3,809 units; 2 social housing projects with a scale of 3,709 units have just started construction; it is expected that by the end of 2025, the province will complete 2,181 social housing units (reaching about 76.63% of the target assigned by the Prime Minister ). In addition, there are 6 projects with a scale of 5,389 social housing units that have been assigned investors, approved investment policies and approved investors...

According to the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income earners and industrial park workers in the 2021 - 2030 period" approved by the Prime Minister, Khanh Hoa province was assigned the target of implementing 7,800 apartments; of which 3,400 apartments will be built in the 2021 - 2025 period.

According to the Housing Development Program of Khanh Hoa province for the period 2021 - 2030 approved by the Provincial People's Committee, it is forecasted that by 2025, the demand for land fund for social housing development in the province will be more than 227 hectares, corresponding to the newly completed social housing floor area of more than 1.8 million m2 (44,881 units). In the period 2026 - 2030, the demand for land fund for social housing development will be more than 337 hectares, corresponding to the newly completed social housing floor area of more than 2.3 million m2 (48,751 units).
