Groundbreaking ceremony for the Youth Volunteer Memorial House

The Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union recently organized the program "Ha Tinh Youth Continue Writing the Story of Peace" and commenced the renovation and upgrading project of the National Memorial Monument for Fallen Youth Volunteers.

Attending the meeting were Comrade Tran The Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Ha Van Trong, Member of the Standing Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Comrade Duong Tat Thang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Construction begins on the renovation and upgrading project of the National Memorial Monument for Fallen Youth Volunteers.

The renovation and upgrading project of the National Memorial Monument for Young Volunteer Martyrs is being implemented by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the Management Board of the Dong Loc Crossroads Historical Site and the Ly Tu Trong Memorial Site, and the Vietnam Industrial and Commercial Bank (Vietinbank), with a total budget of nearly 9.2 billion VND. Upon completion, the project will contribute to creating a focal point for the Dong Loc Crossroads Historical Site and become a significant site for educating the younger generation and people across the country about patriotic and revolutionary traditions.

The organizing committee presented gifts to former Youth Volunteers who had directly participated in the Dong Loc battlefield.

Within the framework of the program "Ha Tinh Youth Continue Writing the Story of Peace," delegates and youth union members interacted and conversed with historical witnesses, recalling the heroic memories of the Dong Loc victory. The organizers presented three charitable houses to beneficiaries in Can Loc district, totaling 150 million VND; donated a Youth Flagpole at the Dong Loc Crossroads historical site; and presented 20 gifts to former Youth Volunteers who directly participated in the Dong Loc battlefield. Simultaneously, an exhibition themed "The Spirit of the Nation: 50 Years of Unification, Development, and Integration" was inaugurated.

Earlier, the delegation also visited and laid flowers and offered incense at the tomb of the 10 heroic female martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force and the national memorial monument for the Youth Volunteer Force.
