Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union has just organized the program "Ha Tinh Youth continues to write the story of peace" and started the project to renovate and upgrade the National Youth Volunteers' Memorial House.
Attending the event were comrade Tran The Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Ha Van Trong, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; comrade Duong Tat Thang, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Commencement of the project to renovate and upgrade the National Youth Volunteers Memorial House.
The project to renovate and upgrade the National Youth Volunteer Martyrs Memorial House is implemented by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Dong Loc T-junction Management Board and the Ly Tu Trong Memorial Area, and the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade with a total budget of nearly 9.2 billion VND. The completed project will contribute to creating a highlight for the Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site and become a red addressto educate the patriotic and revolutionary traditions for the young generation and people across the country.
The Organizing Committee presented gifts to former Youth Volunteers who directly participated in the Dong Loc battlefield.
Within the framework of the program "Ha Tinh Youth continues to write the story of peace", delegates and youth union members interacted and talked with historical witnesses to recall the heroic memories of the Dong Loc victory. The Organizing Committee presented 03 charity houses to beneficiaries in Can Loc district with a total value of 150 million VND; presented the Youth Flag Road at the Dong Loc T-junction relic site and presented 20 gifts to former Youth Volunteers who directly participated in the Dong Loc battlefield. At the same time, the opening of the Exhibition with the theme "The heroic spirit of the country, 50 years of unification, development and integration" was held.
Before that, the delegation also offered flowers and incense at the tombs of 10 female martyrs of the Youth Volunteers and the national memorial stele of the Youth Volunteers.
