On December 5, the Customs Branch of Region V organized the "Customs - Enterprise Conference 2025", implementing the plan to disseminate and educate the law along with propaganda, support and information provision programs in 2025.

At the conference, the Customs Branch of Region V focused on removing obstacles and guiding businesses in handling situations that arise during customs procedures. The unit also issued warnings and pointed out common errors and violations that businesses often encounter.

In addition, the Branch directly introduced to the business community the planned implementation of the Centralized Customs Clearance Model - an important shift in customs management from decentralized to centralized, digitizing the entire business process, moving towards paperless procedures, minimizing time and costs for businesses. The draft project is expected to be piloted from March 1, 2026 at the Customs Branch of Region III (Hai Phong) and the Customs Branch of Region V ( Bac Ninh ).

Within the framework of the program, the Customs Branch of Region V solemnly organized an event to record the import-export turnover of the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen managed by the unit for the first time exceeding the 200 billion USD mark. This is a special milestone in the growth and development process of the Customs Branch of Region V, rising to become one of the leading flags of the Customs sector in the work of collecting the state budget and supporting and accompanying businesses.

Over the past years, the import-export turnover and State budget revenue of the Customs Branch of Region V have always maintained a high growth rate, affirming its important role as a focal point in managing import-export activities in the key industrial provinces of the North.

This success comes from the spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity of the customs officers and civil servants, along with the support of more than 5,900 businesses that regularly carry out procedures at the Branch. Businesses highly appreciate the support, transparency and service spirit of the unit.

The Customs - Enterprise Conference was also an opportunity for the Branch to express gratitude to the business community. Leaders of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, the Customs Department and the Customs Branch of Region V awarded commemorative medals to 10 enterprises with large turnover and 10 enterprises contributing high budget revenue in the two provinces.

Through the activities at the 2025 Customs - Business Conference, the Customs Branch of Region V continues to strengthen the close relationship with the business community, creating a solid foundation for cooperation and sustainable development of the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen in the coming years, contributing to the overall growth of the country's economy.
