The 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly held a preparatory session.

Attending the preparatory session were General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly deputies.

At the meeting, the National Assembly unanimously approved the program of the 10th Session. Accordingly, the National Assembly will work for about 40 consecutive days and there will be no break between sessions. This is the Session with the longest total working time in the term of the 15th National Assembly.

To complete the massive amount of work with 66 contents, including 53 draft laws and draft resolutions on legal norms, the National Assembly agreed to fundamentally change the way of performing work at the Session.

Accordingly, the National Assembly agreed to minimize the time for agencies to read submissions and reports before the National Assembly; at the same time, arrange submissions and discussions in groups of content to both save time and create conditions for comprehensive consideration of closely related issues in the same field.

Regarding the method of re-supervising the implementation of the National Assembly's resolutions on thematic supervision and questioning, the National Assembly agreed to innovate in the direction of not organizing questioning and answering questions at plenary sessions but sending questions in writing before the Session; National Assembly deputies will discuss, consider and pass the National Assembly's Resolution on this issue.

There are still some contents that the Government is directing agencies to continue to complete and plan to propose additional submissions to the National Assembly. The National Assembly will agree on the basis of consideration by the National Assembly Standing Committee. If qualified, it will be submitted to the National Assembly for decision.

The National Assembly highly appreciated the National Assembly Standing Committee's continued direction on the synchronous implementation of digital technology, artificial intelligence and digital transformation in the activities of the National Assembly at this Session. The National Assembly Office has directed the upgrading of the National Assembly App 2.0 to integrate virtual assistants; ensuring technical infrastructure and high-speed internet connection in the Dien Hong meeting room and the Group meeting rooms.
