Round 9 of the V-League will soon return from January 8, 2024 (February 17). When the tournament returns, domestic football fans expect the appearance of famous coaches, appointed to new positions right before Tet, but not yet officially in charge of new clubs.
The most mentioned name is certainly Coach Kiatisak Senamuang (Thai) of Hanoi Police Club (CAHN). A famous coach joining a very famous club is of course a topic mentioned in stories related to Vietnamese football.

Although he has worked in Vietnam for many years, from when he was a player to when he became a coach, through many different stages, this is the first time "Thai Zico" no longer belongs to HAGL when he is active in the Vietnamese football community.
The story of Kiatisak leaving Mr. Duc's team to join CAHN not only reflects the great change of Mr. Kiatisak himself, but also shows the great change of HAGL. Coach Kiatisak came to CAHN with the expectation of helping the reigning V-League champion revive and return to the race for the championship.
On the other hand, Coach Kiatisak leaving HAGL also reflects that Mr. Duc's team is now ready to change, especially in terms of playing style and approach to the audience and the media. Replacing Coach Kiatisak at the mountain town team at this time is Coach Vu Tien Thanh, a character with a different coaching style from "Thai Zico", much more pragmatic.
