Thanks to that, over the past 5 years, the graduation rate has always been 100%; many students have been admitted to top universities; some students have won first prize in the national excellent student contest in Geography; some have even achieved impressive international certificates with IELTS 8.0-8.5, SAT over 1,500 points.

“Teaching in the mountainous border areas still has many difficulties, but that is why each of us teachers is more aware of our responsibilities. Learning and following Uncle Ho is not something far away, but starts with dedication and closeness to students, arousing in them the spirit of learning and the will to overcome difficulties. Today's achievement is the motivation for the school to continue to make more efforts,” said Associate Professor Nguyen Thi Hang, a History teacher.

Not only focusing on professional achievements, the school also spreads many humane models. The “Second Mother” Club has become a support for poor students to overcome difficulties. Free tutoring classes for weak students are maintained regularly, clearly demonstrating the spirit of learning and following Uncle Ho through specific and practical actions.

Teachers integrate moral values, compassion, and the will to overcome difficulties into each lesson. Extracurricular activities, storytelling contests about Uncle Ho, and the movement “One week – one good deed” help students practice life skills, love, and share.

Pham Khanh Hung (10A grade student) shared: “Thanks to activities like telling stories about Uncle Ho, doing good deeds or participating in clubs, I learned to be more grateful, loving and sharing. We not only learn knowledge in class but also practice life skills, become more confident in communication, and orient our dreams.”

Mr. Tran Van Cat, Vice Principal of Vu Quang High School, said that the school also promotes creativity. An internal digital resource warehouse is being built where teachers can share lectures, initiatives, question banks, and specialized documents.

Good ideas are voted on publicly and then replicated throughout the school. A core group of teachers plays the role of “locomotive”, researching and applying modern teaching methods such as STEM, flipped classrooms, and artificial intelligence applications.

Digital transformation has become an important direction. Vu Quang High School has developed a fanpage and online forum to connect parents, students and teachers; applied technology in academic and career counseling; and piloted AI in testing and evaluation.
