President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum reopens from August 13

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has agreed to reopen the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to welcome compatriots and international visitors to pay their respects to President Ho Chi Minh from August 13.

During the inspection of the results of the periodic restoration of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in 2024 and working with the Mausoleum Management Board, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh agreed to continue to reopen the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to welcome compatriots and international visitors to visit President Ho Chi Minh from August 13.

In the first 6 months of this year, the Mausoleum Management Board welcomed more than 1.6 million visitors to the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace and welcomed more than 430,000 visitors to the Ho Chi Minh Museum.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested the Mausoleum Management Board to continue promoting the spirit of initiative and creativity, closely and effectively coordinating with agencies to excellently complete assigned tasks with all their heart, patriotism and national pride.

In particular, the Prime Minister noted the need to promote digital transformation in managing visitors; research and restore the Ba Dinh historical and cultural relic complex to make it more and more spacious, enhance its intrinsic value, always be a red address, educate the nation's heroic historical and cultural traditions, create motivation and inspiration for compatriots and soldiers nationwide and contribute to promoting the image of the country and Vietnamese people to international friends.
