Lao leaders congratulate Vietnam on the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding

On January 21 and 22, Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Minh Tam received more than 20 delegations of high-ranking Lao leaders, including representatives of the Party Central Committee Office, ministries, sectors, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the traditional Lunar New Year 2025.

At the reception, Lao leaders sent congratulations to the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the traditional Lunar New Year 2025. At the same time, the delegates reviewed the history of the formation and development of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the close friendship between the two Parties through the ages; congratulated the great achievements that Vietnam has made in the renovation process, especially the outstanding results in domestic and foreign affairs in 2024.

The Lao leaders emphasized the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. They also expressed their deep gratitude for the valuable support and assistance that the Party, State and people of Vietnam have given to Laos during the struggle for independence as well as in the current cause of national construction and development.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tam affirmed that Vietnam's achievements over the past 95 years have always been closely associated with the wholehearted support and assistance of the Lao Party, State and people.

Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tam expressed his hope that the two countries will continue to stand side by side, promote comprehensive cooperation, effectively implement high-level agreements, and actively contribute to the development of both countries. The Vietnamese Embassy in Laos will continue to act as a bridge, promoting increasingly effective and sustainable bilateral cooperation.

Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tam also highly appreciated the close cooperation between the departments, ministries, branches, Fatherland Fronts and mass organizations of the two countries, affirming the special priority of the Party, State and people of Vietnam in supporting Laos in socio -economic development, building new rural areas, poverty reduction, human resource training, as well as expanding foreign relations and international integration.
