Provincial leaders and agencies and units visited and congratulated press agencies on Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

On June 20, comrade Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visited and congratulated Ninh Thuan Radio and Television Station, Ninh Thuan Newspaper, Provincial Journalists Association and Vietnam News Agency stationed in Ninh Thuan.

At the places visited, after listening to the leaders of the units report on the results and situation of press activities in the past time and the first 6 months of 2023, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council sent best wishes to the leaders, Editorial Board, and reporters; shared the difficulties and praised the spirit of proactive efforts in professional work; thereby, promptly propagating the province's political and social events.

From the achieved results, he hoped that press units would continue to improve the quality of content and forms of propaganda; focus on clearly reflecting the leadership and direction of Party committees and local authorities in implementing socio-economic development tasks, evaluating the results of the half-term of Party congresses, the term of People's Councils at all levels, and the field of social life, providing diverse information for people to access and grasp.

At the places visited, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of press agencies and journalists in information and propaganda work. In particular, the team of reporters and editors of the units have supported, accompanied and coordinated promptly with the Front in propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, thereby contributing to bringing the Party's ideas to the people, arousing the strength of great national unity, building a strong Party and government.

In the coming time, he hopes that news agencies, newspapers and journalists in the province will continue to inherit and promote the tradition of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism; continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of journalism activities, especially print journalism in the current fierce information competition trend. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen the management of journalists, reporters and members in compliance with legal regulations; pay attention to training and fostering to improve the expertise, professionalism and ethics of journalists, ensuring a source of quick, timely, accurate and life-affirming press information, thereby contributing to affirming and further enhancing the position of revolutionary journalism serving the Party and the people.
