Lao Cai: Awarding scholarships to students who overcome difficulties and are studious in Muong Khuong commune

On the morning of October 21, Lao Cai Province's Association for Promotion of Education coordinated with the People's Committee of Muong Khuong Commune to organize a scholarship award ceremony for students who have overcome difficulties and are studious in the area.

Attending the program was Comrade Trieu Tien Thinh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Learning, Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning.

On this occasion, the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning awarded 10 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to students from junior high and elementary schools in the area. These students come from disadvantaged families but have always strived to excel, achieving many good results in their studies and serving as shining examples of a studious spirit.

Comrade Trieu Tien Thinh - Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning, delivered a speech at the scholarship awarding ceremony.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning, Trieu Tien Thinh, affirmed: “This is a practical activity, demonstrating the concern and support of the Association for the Promotion of Learning for the cause of education , while also encouraging and motivating the learning spirit of poor but studious students. Although the material value is not large, these scholarships have profound spiritual significance, contributing to spreading love in the community, helping students have more motivation to continue going to school, striving to become good children, good students, and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho.”

Scholarships were awarded to 10 underprivileged and studious students.
